SR-71 is a spy plane. It has no armament what so ever.

Forgotten aircraft:
AH-1 Cobra

Still in service with the USMC as the AH-1 Super Cobra and AH-1 Viper. Replaced by the Apache in Army Service.

F-4 Phantom II

This use to be a common multi-role plane in Navy, USMC, and Airforce service. Retired in the 90's.

F-117

This was the tactical stealth bomber of it's day. Retired in 2008 due the introduction of newer stealth aircraft.

B-2 Spirit

Strategic Stealth bomber, very few produced, doesn't see much action, still in service.

A-6 Intruder

Naval bomber and anti-ship plane. Retired, Prowler variant is still in service.

I get a freedom boner listening to the rumble.

The U2 And SR-71 are used for reconnaissance In military applications defining them as a Combat aircraft or Warplane
If you're a robot, maybe, but if you use common sense and look up from your dictionary for a moment you'll realize how handicapped you sound when you try to argue that an unarmed plane that isn't supposed to see combat is in fact a combat aircraft. It'd be like me calling my 2001 Oldsmobile a reconnaissance vehicle because I can look out its windows and spot things.

my poor underrated Comanche <3 Why can't the military love you ;-;

All about them forward-swept wings

My favorite ww2 era combat vessel is probably the Bf 109, or the Supermarine Spitfire.
