Amazon has em 50% off
Could you find me a decent one? 1-2 tb should be enough.

Battlefield 4 looks exactly the same on Xbone as it did on PC.

Maybe if you put the quality to low on the pc.
Maybe you forgot but PCs have something wonderful that consoles don't have: Graphics settings

Consoles do need upgrading, by the way. Some consoles are only 4GB like my stuffty xbox, so I needed to upgrade it by buying a new hard drive.
Is this one of the early Kinect-ready Xbox 360 Arcades?
Because those were cheaper versions designed with the intention that you would mostly be downloading Arcade games, rather than big triple-A games.
4GB on an Xbox 360 is also plenty of space provided you aren't downloading big games, since the data taken up by save spaces and themes and profile pics is tiny, and the Xbox 360 didn't make you install anything from the disc.
I survived for 2 years on my original Xbox 360 with just two 512MB memory sticks. The Xbox had no personal internal storage.

There were/are slightly more expensive Xbox 360's that come with a range of removable Hard Drives, from 25GB to 320GB, as well as a generally larger personal storage.

Mine wasn't even an arcade 360, we paid $250 for it and it was 4GB

You do realize that if I wanted a gaming PC, I would've bought one, right?
are you sure, or are you just inept?
Most of the actual quality games are available on console.
you mean those locked down awful pieces of stuff?
its literally ubisoft and ea that make most of the titles on those, and you're feeding them
also how is that indie game section on xbox lmfao, gotta love silver dollar games
Quality over quantity, people!
Literally every game that has come out has been stuff for consoles.
Think of it, bf4 is a buggy mess, watch dogs was god damn terrible, unity runs at 24 fps (most cinematic experience), titanfall is already on pc and is a generic fps
there have been no titles for current generation consoles that are new ip's and are good (that I know of)
my god
I find it funny when people say PC's are cheaper than Consoles when that same person probably spent $500 on a graphics card alone.
consoles are what, $600? for outdated hardware already?
Quality of GAMES over quantities of GAMES.
because papers, please, game dev tycoon, cs:go and other games are "quantity"
sure theres a fair share of bad games on pc, but that doesn't subtract from the good ones
When people say that PC has more games, most of those games are games that were too stuffty or the developers were too poor to put them on console.

You can just take it out of the box and play without worrying about any other requirements than storage space.
$600 for outdated hardware and a small hard drive
that's pure gold
no worrying about viruses
its called common sense, and taking two seconds to read something, is it so hard for you

i paid 75 dollars for my pre used, refurbished 4gig slim and then took a hdd from a broken laptop, cleared it and stuck it in there, still working great after at least 4 years (pretty sure that's how long I've had it)

I'll answer to all of your dumb stuff tomorrow when I'm not half awake

Compressed audio is usually lower quality than uncompressed
Uncompressed stereo 16-bit audio is 1411kb/s. Compressed AAC audio at 256kb/s (just as an example) sounds identical to uncompressed in almost all cases (I know someone who can hear up to 22KHz and they can't tell the difference. Most people can only hear up to around 15-18KHz!) and is 5.5 times smaller in terms of filesize.

and it takes more CPU to uncompress it on the fly.
Most modern audio compression algorithms are relatively fast to decode. I believe one of the fastest codecs (if not the fastest, i haven't done the calculations so don't quote me on this) in terms of decoding is the recent Opus codec. It's free, open source, and very efficient.

Also MP3s are hard to loop.
They're just as hard to loop as uncompressed audio. The codec makes no difference.

If you have the space, why not use it to give a "better experience"
It won't give a better experience unless the devs were idiots and used a stuffty codec like mp3 or encoded at a super low bitrate, I can tell you that much.

The only possible downside to using compressed audio (when used properly) is loading times would be slowed down slightly. It's what's known as a space-time tradeoff. You use significantly less space and loose a bit of time decoding the audio into an uncompressed format in ram.

Nice try, $350. And it's an entire system of components that have been shown to age pretty well with games that have arisen from the late 360 and PS3 era. You're spending thousands and thousands of dollars if you're really actually upgrading your hardware in a PC to be "state of the art" all the time. I built my PC in the summer of 2012 and I run all games at maximum still. I don't need to be spending all my cash on hardware that will boost my frames by 10. In fact, I think you completely missed the point of that original quote. You perpetuated my point with your response, which is kind of funny.

Again, I have both PC and consoles, and I am totally okay with all of them. This PC elitism is kind of loving handicapped.
