I'm not going to release the save because there are many buildings which are personal builds, and they were made by other people. It also uses lots of add-ons some of which are hard to find or not released and would screw up the load.

well, this is another case

considering it is a community build, blockhead cannot release it, because he might not have the permission of everybody

I don't need your permission to go onto your server, save the bricks, and use them myself. Whoever built the build is irrelevant. The whole point of the game is sharing your creations.

It sounds like you're referring to stealing a build. Saving a build without user consent isn't exactly right, especially if it has custom built structures.

People shouldn't be building on public servers if they didn't expect their build to be used in any way shape or form. It's their vow of consent to join the server and contribute ~anything~ that makes it into the final product.

The whole point of the game is to save creations and have fun with them. Just because I have Tezuni's Jail in my save files means I stole it? No. It means I saved it.
And there is nothing in the game that goes against that.

Then you'll have to deal with people saving your builds then.  It's a core feature of the game.  This whole topic is as dumb as those javascript crap things that try to stop you from saving images in your browser.  People like to save builds so they can look at them locally and play with them later, or maybe add on to them on their own server.

If people want to play in the build so bad just come to the server, I host almost every day. The build was built for server purposes and not to be released. I usually don't make gallery topics for this reason, but Chaotic wanted me to and I thought it would be a good way for people to see the build. As Arekan said, it probably is just a one hit wonder anyway so why bother? Fighting over the release of the build is just going to make me less likely to release it and lock this topic, so please stay on topic.

Edit: I could just take peoples builds out and release the rest as a save I suppose. I'll probably do that later today.

They're not meant to be released and remembered, that's why, lol. It applies to all blockland videos. Nice try though. Oh yeah, it's on youtube, so people can view it on any time. This gets buried in the gallery board. Less people are likely to find it.


Taking out all the people's builds will make it have like.. 2 buildings at max the way you say it.
