To get back on topic, this was the reason for the whole mess of server crashes given to me over PM:

You think? My reason is really simple, revenge. Now you may think 'Wow thats just stupid' or similar, but thats how Outty does.

So, you work by acting like an infantile little turd and using off-the-shelf hacking tools to enact petty revenge against some strangers who embarrassed you on the internet?

Thanks for clearing all that up for us. At least now we know that this wasn't just a random act of delinquency, and that you really do believe that you can get revenge on this community by knocking a few servers offline late at night and paying the developer more money.

I'm not trying to justify Outpact's actions, nor do I have an advanced idea what his vendetta is against people. From what I see, his main reason for his actions seem to be revenge. I can sort of understand how revenge corrupts the mind. You lose your sense of what's happening. You guys may think "You're just supporting the development of this game." or "Whats the big deal?" That's the thing.

In the end, no matter the outcome on our end, his will always be bad.

Sure, he's taken a server of someone he disliked off the list for at most a few hours, but this will just result in a key revoke more often than not, so his satisfaction will most assuredly be short-lived. If he's honestly going to throw ten dollars down the drain for a petty rivalry and make a fool of himself, who are we to stand in his way?

There is no way the servers happened to crash. In both instances, the NetString table error was logged.

Okay lemme tell you this.  Before he started going full stufflord we were pretty chill, but he did always seem to insert some self-important or entitled remark here and there, often with some malicious intent behind it, often ethically borderline.  I stopped talking to him and months later, this attitude is no different, just magnified.

Revenge?  I doubt it.  He was raised the way he is and is still the same way, only now he has the tools to make people miserable.
