Author Topic: How fast have you driven your car?  (Read 7101 times)

Hope you speeders have fun with involuntarily manslaughter.
I haven't killed anyone yet!

have you ever gone above the speed limit before? sounds to me like your parents raised you inside a protection bubble
I was hoping you'd ask that

I stay in the passing lane averaging 80 most every time I go on the highway, when I was younger I raced ATVs all the time, I've streetraced over the past summer, hell last week I went drifting ffs I love motorsports and adrenaline rushes

the difference is I'm not a stuff-for-brains. There's a time and place for everything, and that's only if you know damn sure what the forget you're doing. I pay my own car insurance and repair my own vehicle with my own time, tools and money, so everything I do with my car falls 100% on me. The only accident I've been in was a 5-mph fender-bender. This topic regarding speeding and streetracing goes deeper than "my parents raised me to be a lil dorky safety prick hur durrr that's why I drive slow". There are risks and legitimate safety concerns, and you'd be wise to realize them.

My parents raised me and let me make choices on my own because when I'm older and I'm going to have to make choices on my own. So half of your statement is true.
My parents raised me and let me make my own choices. The difference is my parents helped me to distinguish bad from good. Where as your parents just went "here are some scissors go run."

Why I wouldn't speed? First of all, I don't have the money to pay 150 dollars just to show off to my buddies and assert my dominance on the road. Second of all, try controlling a car when its going about 80 miles per hour, its very easy to lose control and kill someone, and yourself. Think of it, is it worth it?

only around 95ish, my truck can only go 100 qq

My parents never told me to run with scissors. They actually are against running with scissors once they found out my cousin poked his eye out from running with scissors. Running with scissors isn't something to joke about.

where are you getting these assumptions from? you don't know what his parents are like

What moron pulls out his phone to take a picture of his speedometer?
It was a straight abandoned highway. At night you will only see the occasional car every 10 minutes or so.

Figure of speech. I'm saying they didn't give a damn.

The fastest I've gone so far is about 90 while going down I-680. On highways I usually go about 65-70. Anyone who follows the speed limit on highways/freeways is a jackass.

And you know this how?

I was passing an RV going downhill and I ended up hitting 140 km/h.

And you know this how?
Because he feels his speeding is justified.

Because he feels his speeding is justified.

and this means you know how his parents were how?
