Author Topic: How fast have you driven your car?  (Read 7094 times)

There are much better ways to have a good time than doing illegal things.

why do you loving care what people do with their spare time? jesus we're not loving raping or murdering people.

lol newspeed have you considered joining the "i drive 55" foundation
i'm sure they would love you

Why I wouldn't speed? First of all, I don't have the money to pay 150 dollars just to show off to my buddies and assert my dominance on the road. Second of all, try controlling a car when its going about 80 miles per hour, its very easy to lose control and kill someone, and yourself. Think of it, is it worth it?

i can control my car(s) just fine at 80mph

i've gone like 150 when i went to the autobahn in germany

Like, 40. I was driving my dads car while learning to drive.

i think the point newspeed is trying to make is that the possible consequences make speeding not worth it, with him losing his cousin and all

@newspeed i understand your stance on speeding and im sorry you lost your little cousin to it, but i dont rly think the people here care enough to change themselves cause, like me, they probably have the mindset that they're better drivers more careful than that

but i only speed on those backroads that nobody frequents (80-100) :cookieMonster:

was my turn on a road trip once and i went maybe 95? was on a straight flat stretch of 100 miles, and it was pitch black with almost no traffic.

The fastest I've ever gone was like 115 and it was a pretty bad idea. Mostly because the roads by me are super stuff and I felt every single bump and dip in the road way more then I do normally. I never really drive on the freeway so I have few opportunities to go really fast

I was thinking the same exact thing. When I drove to upstate New York which was about a 6-7 hour drive I don't think I went below 80 unless I hit traffic. On my way home I think I did at least 90 because I really wasn't looking forward to the trip at all.

200 MPH!
...in Grand Theft Auto 5.

In that case make that 312mph for me in Gran Turismo 6

I've hit well over 8000mph if we are talking video game.

Trinick pls (gtho nick)

As for me, I'm a goody goody who usually follows posted speed limits. Almost every road where I live has posted speeds of 60, so I have the engine sounds pre-synchronized in my brain so even when I'm not thinking about speed, my brain works as a cruise control and I always end up going 60 on highways.

Highest for me was 81mph in 70 (I-55). I was driving our '13 Ford E-350 XLT (looks exactly like picture):

The first time I ever drove on public streets, I went 72 in a 65 driving a '12 Ford Focus.

Having spent 2 weeks with trinick I have video of him going 120+ multiple times xD
