(yes this is an idea i got from queeba's place avatar onto os thread)

whatisanidiom.scr.exe

Since this virus is mainly made to gather banking accounts, credit cards, ect., it will be hidden deep into the system. This virus creates the main package, which is hidden where "explorer.exe" would be, and is in itself named "explorer.exe". This exe files simply continually replicates if deleted. The virus itself will duplicate around the system in every nook and cranny. The explorer.exe will always be in System32, probably not in the spot where explorer.exe (the real one) is, but somewhere.

The virus will probably be too named another important system file, and will be, as said, spread around the hard drive over a period of time.

The virus will collect all credit cards and their associated security measurements and place it on a database hidden inside the computer. The virus wouldn't be sending anything to the host until the end of the computer's use.

The virus will continue to collect credit cards, keys, bank account numbers, ect. until the database fills up to 10. It will then initiate the download of most of the lest-pesky viruses on the web, causing the machine to malfunction. During this fury, the virus will upload all of the banking account numbers to another currently-loving-up computer. Soon or non, a peer-to-peer connection will take place to multiple botnets that will then download to another botnet and then go to me. I will then get a complete list of all of the banking accounts.

On January 1st of the next year, the payload will be fully unleashed, and the person's BIOS will be flashed with a harddrive repair company's name (claiming to be an imbedded warning from the harddrive itself) and the harddrive will be corrupted (but not cleared), leading to people 80% of the time bringing their harddrives to that company to have it repaired.

I would have already invested in that company, and watch my profits sky rocket as a result.

potatoknish.exe
opens up this every midnight

potatoknish.exe
opens up this every midnight
OMGF YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SS

steponalego.exe

every 1/4 mouse clicks wont register and your mouse will have a 1 second delay movement

newyears.exe

Installs craptons of adware that only takes effect on New Years eve
Once adware is executed, it will devour your memory, execute all executable programs and opens up all pictures, and all web browsers go to this page
all antiviruses are shut down without warning once virus (not executed yet) gets into system
After new years eve the computer begins lagging and heating up exponentially as the virus begins replacing all files and speed copying itself
The computer in the end after all files are replaced, the screen will be replaced with a black screen saying:
"Happy new years have fun buying a new computer. Please wait while we delete all system files. Have fun!"
Computer becomes useless in the end

ok i got a good one.
it is very subtle and the user would never assume its virus related.

every between 300-500 keys typed, a key will randomly be typo'd.
it will annoy the stuff out of the user, but he will always think its himself doing it.

:D

"wildfire.exe" : Original name, but often simply renamed to fool idiots into thinking it is a file they want.

Threat: Extremely Severe

Type: Worm.Uncommon (Spreading Badware)

You get it by: Running the executable file, sometimes disguised as what looks like legitimate software. Suspicious emails and downloads are "hotspots" for this to "flare" up. Pun very much intended.

Payload: Once run, sends itself to the router, distributing it to all effectable programs on that network, and if the router is acting as a server and is allowing other IP's to connect to the host, they will also be effected, since they are using the router to connect to as a port. Enough to disable all antivirus programs, hijacks all programs and instead makes the programs power the virus itself so it uses up most of your system memory.

Effects: Turns monitor brightness up all the way, turns all processes to Very High in Task Manager, Increases usage of all system resources, Disables your computers fan and even other cooling systems, and does not allow any disks to be added or removed. Overclocks the computer far beyond capability enough to permanently cause internal damage and burns, and commonly even cause the computer to catch fire. Not only is it called "wildfire.exe" because of that, but also because it can spread across the world as long as computers are connected to eachother via router/server hosting.

Other Info: This is a major threat to not only homes and offices because of the physical safety threat, but this is also very bad for server companies too as the Worm.Uncommon also effects server computers, which can overall be worse because if those server companies host for big enterprises (google, yahoo, etc.) will be effected and ANY DOWNLOAD on these companies sites will instead just be the Worm.Uncommon, and not the expected file. Once again, it is also bad for these server companies as it can cause fire and has a potential to incinerate other server racks before the worm itself actually spreads.

Fidget.exe

Moves the mouse cursor in a random direction every once and awhile or when you click

Fidget.exe
at first i thought this was gonna replace the cursor with the character fidget.

at first i thought this was gonna replace the cursor with the character fidget.
I wouldn't mind that.

Eb.ola

Fries the computer first by just slowing processing speed but then full on melting stuff after a few days

devilsadvocate.exe

Inputting the number 666 at any time anywhere (for example: in notepad) at all crashes your computer.

Loading a page with the alpha-numeric numbers 666 on it will crash your computer. (Even if it's in the URL.)

The virus deletes itself after the computer has crashed 6 times, regardless of how the crash occured, I'm not that cruel.
