Potato mother forgeter. POTATO I don't know Uh, I'm waiting for someone to say "Heil Riddler"

One thing that i have notice is that it much easier for a white person to obtain a job than other races..
Depends on the job, companies such as Google favor hiring minorities over white males. Racism is dumb, but so is "reverse racism"
Equality should be equality, not bringing others down to your level and elevating yourself. It seems like people don't want equality, but superiority. That's why I don't like social justice and the likes.

um wel im filipino so i get asked if ive jumped the border or if i attacked pearl harbor

hooray!

Why can't we all just get the forget along?

It really stuffs me when people cry because other people make "tribal jokes", too. It's loving comedy, mate. I don't have to appeal to every single person out there.

Why can't we all just get the forget along?
Because the idea of getting rid of all the disparities between people because it'd be nice is a pretentious idea and brings forth no sort of equality or peace.

People would sooner sweep everything under a rug than admit that there is a problem.

Yeah equality isn't equality grr >:V

a pretentious idea
I've seen clumsy uses of that word, but goddam...

brings forth no sort of equality or peace.
Let's just pretend this makes total sense and is not completely mixing up what I just said.

IMO, at the very least, if people did their best to try and cooperate, it might lessen racial-violence and other big issues. I'm not asking people to be love-buddies, it'd just be nice if we'd stop loving each other over based on our race and instead forget each other over based on monetary status or other meaningless values  :cookieMonster:

Even though that's partially true, where I live it's absolutely the opposite. People love to admit there's a problem, but they don't like to admit they're the problem.

?
*Yeah there's no way people can just accept that race doesn't change anything that would never work we can't do that grr >:V

But you don't get rid of issues by saying "let's just all be friends"

That's a goal, not a process.

No one said that???

But how exactly do you go about fixing that i you ignore the problems society faces and decide to just shoehorn peace on to people with no plan and results other than just shouting equality?

yes that is the definition of pretentious

we should make a secret campaign where people constantly make fun of people who actually think race makes a difference

problem solved

I like that you simplified my response in completely the wrong way.

People are naturally going to dislike and hate others, and they're going to stereotype people with specific features into groups that they also dislike and hate. That's all human nature (See: My 34 rants on pattern theory).

What I'm suggesting is that people build up a bit of a tolerance towards violent actions and dangerous behaviour, so that we can at least minimise the impact of racism. Simply "being friends" is not the solution I'm after, and in my view, a perfect solution is not at all possible. We must instead try to alleviate the impact and do our best to work towards a minimum of tolerance.

Even though we live in a world where race actually makes a difference in the way people live?

Saying you're "colorblind" doesn't make racism go away for everyone.

How else is anyone going to interpret:
Why can't we all just get the forget along?
other than some cry for equality with no plan?
