Id rather just shut down
Why? Hibernating is exactly the same, except Windows boots faster, and you don't need for startup programs to open.
One of the first things I download after installing Windows. Love it.>shutting down instead of hibernating>2014
>Not having OS on SSD to boot in same time>2014
What does hibernate even do?
Saves what's in the RAM to your hard drive and shuts down the computer, then when you turn it back on, it just loads everything back into the RAM, so you can continue where you left off.
So you can hibernate then remove all power to the machine and it still boots up just as fast?
Still faster and easier to hibernate.
Why not use Sleep? It's even faster and easier and doesn't eat up a bunch of space.
Cause sleep doesn't shut your computer off. If you lose power, you lose whatever you were doing.
If you don't save things before you go away, that's your problem. Don't blame it on the power cutting out.
