He doesn't need any, he's dealing with his own problem in his own way and it seems to be working out fine. You're all telling him to do the stupidest loving stuff possible and create nothing but more problems for himself in order to solve a problem that doesn't exist. Guess what? Beating the stuff out of some student who is an starfish isn't going to get his suspension repealed. Guess what else? His suspension is the only actual problem here.

Grow the forget up and move on. Dwelling on this is only going to make things worse. I don't know what OP thought he'd accomplish by calling out the starfish on his stuff, ESPECIALLY knowing that the kid has a parent on faculty.

Listen, his mom can't follow him to every school he ever goes to. Eventually he's going to pull that stuff where he isn't protected and it's going to hit him a thousand times worse than anything you could do. Just brush yourself off and move on.
