Yeah, unless you're on a dedicated node I tend to keep your account around until I actually need to clean it up to make room for newer accounts.

Note to BlockNet users: Please do not update to the latest version of the game. There is a severe issue in the latest update that causes an immediate crash due to a missing dependency in Wine. It's probably a fixable issue, but I may have to take down the service for some time to do the needed updates to the servers. I'll be throwing out an email with information on that when I've figured out how to go about the fix.

No, you have to manually select the update option from the menu. Also, this issue looks like something that Badspot may just fix by attaching the needed dll to the game in another update. I'll wait a while to see if he does this.

Just a note. I'm migrating the website onto a new server, and the DNS is a little weird right now. If you can't access the site via blocknet.us, try just adding a 'www.' to it since the DNS for that is already set up. This shouldn't be a problem for more than a day or so.

Sorry about the extended downtime on the us4 node today. It's fixed now.
These issues caused the server hardware to change, which will invalidate all server keys at the moment. You'll need to re-enter an authentication key before booting your servers again. (Only applies to the us4 node)

The reason it took so long was actually because there were two separate issues. The first issue is that the physical server the node was residing on had a hardware failure, which the host of the physical server amended by moving us to a new physical server; which took about an hour and a half. The next was me finding out that the filesystem was corrupted (Which may or may not have been caused by the aforementioned problem, though it may not have been the case) causing the filesystem to be mounted in read-only mode. Fortunately it doesn't appear that it was severe, as running a disk utility to correct it seemed to be all that was needed.
