Author Topic: Minigame Mini Servers  (Read 1276 times)

Not sure if the title makes sense but that's one of the best ways I can put it.

I'm looking for a server sided script that acts as a local chat. If you're in a minigame, you can only talk to other people in that minigame. Therefore, you could have two or more minigames in a server and the chat wouldn't get crowded. Admins would have the ability to chat across minigames and globally.

On a side note; I'm not sure if this was already made but it would be nice to have an event that could put you in specific minigames.

This could be possible.

Are you saying you'd like the admin to be able to use a cmd like, /globalchat or something?
I will begin to write. Wish me luck. :3

the /globalchat functionality would probably have to work with a cloud of some sort.

I don't see why.
All it would do is message everybody the admin's message.

The add-on you're looking for is called, Event_doTeam.zip

Thank you for that.

Yeah, a server command like /gc or /globalchat would be nice. Good luck!

Having a few problems with it.
Perhaps you would like to come see it?

OT:  This would be nice.  Even functionality to have multiple minigames run by one person and allowing users to move between them would be cool.

Iirc, someone did this in a very intuitive manner, but it was so long ago that I can't remember who.  It was never released publicly.

I'm doing a little work, so I may or may not be able to see it. Will you be hosting and when should I get on?

Maybe next week. I will be busy this weekend.
