collage of handicaps:
The only handicap here is the person trying to be all SUPAH SRS BUZNUSS in this topic.
For people you don't know, death is funny. That's what I've found being around death a lot. Very few people who die want the world to be all grim and awful after they're gone. This kid took himself partly because he wanted people to be happy, and so he thought he was preventing that.
We all die at one stage. You can't allow yourself to become overcome with grief and let it prevent you from making your own life better. When somebody dies, you spend a bit of time remembering them, and then you move on and you try to become better for it.
When my Granddad kicked the bucket with Alzheimer's, after the funeral my family got absolutely loving wasted, and spent the night firing illegal fireworks and telling funny stories. The next day, we were all happy and moved on with our lives. He wouldn't want us to be perpetually reverent, and neither would this kid.
The most important thing: Humour is a brilliant too to air out all the dirty issues in society. That's why Australians tell the best jokes; we have no restrictions, we're just brutally honest with our jokes about race, religion, love and whatnot. Humour isn't about mockery (it could be, but it isn't), it's about showing that we're not all perfect, and we should have a laugh about it since there's not really a way to fix that.
So, forget off with your stuffty little opinion about people having a joke. You're probably the most disrespectful person in this entire thread. You haven't even said anything outside of calling people handicaps, which I think this kid may have found more offensive than the jokes.
