Only if it's not something that has a lot of liquid like cereal. Other than that, I eat pretty much all the time if I was on the computer before I got the food.

I bring a cloth half wet so my board and mouse dont get grimey

I'm usually conscious of all actions if I'm eating something messy. Because I always use laptops on desks, the elevated bases protect the keyboards and I don't drop crumbs on the keyboard due to its close proximity to the screen.

If I would knock something over, and I likely won't, I can just scoop up the computer quickly.

i misread the title for "Do you eat your computer?"

I do. Gotta be super careful with drinks though. One whole side of the innards of my computer is exposed so if I spill, I'm gonna lose about $400 worth of parts.

town
towel

i spilled coke on my old laptop and forgeted up the keyboard. twice.

i wonder what the townspeople were thinking

They were very confused at first but quickly adapted to the new milky laptop surroundings.

town

I meant towel. :c

I once spilled a bowl of cereal on my laptop. I immediately flipped it over and yanked the battery out. I set it on a town and outside in the heat. Was totally fine the next day except for a mild case of sticky key syndrome.

did you solve it by pressing shift 5 times?

i also eat at my desk, but only for small meals and breakfast, and my laptop is pretty far on the desk from where i eat because of the screen setup i have [it kinda gets annoying having to stretch my hands to use the keyboard sometimes]

i always eat at my computer because i know to clean stuff up if i make a mess. however i don't trust my classmates eating at computers because then the keys get crusted with hot chip dust, sticky with gatorade or some other mystery substance, or they just shove all of their garbage into the compartments for the power strips and mice get in there and chew the cords and egh. no.

as long as it's not hand food
