What is Metal?

Why is there a "megathread" for such a small and demographically, on this forum, unpopular subgenre. I don't go around making Djent or Prog megathreads.

i have nothing against power metal, i just don't know much about it/any good bands from the genre.

Re-do OP to include many genres and the thread might pan out. IMO power metal isn't even close to being the best metal sub-genre.
