I've played Terraria for like 200 hours

 Although I didn't play with all the new stuff
 I tried playing it and I just couldn't. Too many new things I just don't have to try and discover anymore

imo starbound is terraria with more bugs

cant say i consider myself biased as ive played both (terraria first) and besides the instruments in starbound, starbound just feels like playing terraria again

tbh starbound feels worse in general
worse graphics
unfitting and boring soundtrack

Not to mention it's just an entirely boring game.

You can only see the same 3 structures on a planet so many times before you get tired of it.

Terraria yes. I enjoy the hell out of that game
Starbound no. I own it, but its overall very boring.

I like starbound's playersprites more, and it's easily moddable. Terraria however is loads more fun.

unfortunately it lacks overall content... and the developers are incredibly slow and mismanaged
