Hello! For the foreseeable future, I'll be hosting a survival Terraria server. I'll keep it up as often as possible, but since we'll be starting school again I can't really promise anything. The server is open to anyone I give the password to (PM me!) and I would very much prefer you didn't "invite" people without asking my permission. Hardmode is completely disabled for now, though I will enable it when the majority of players are comfortable with entering the new mode. Also, try to keep the server friendly - no griefing, stealing, or other uninvited nastiness. You can have PvP skirmishes if you enable it first, of course. Pranks should ideally be run through me unless you have a mutual pranking agreement.
Play with a new character - difficulty is up to you, but I recommend softcore.
Don't use an inventory editor under any circumstance. Ever. If I find out, there is an immediate ban in place. I'll sometimes put up alternate worlds to explore, though I'll elaborate on that when it happens.
Rules:1. Start with a brand new character, and don't ever bring items in from another world or character.
2. Don't destroy other people's property/work/etc ("griefing").
3. Don't steal from other people; I'm looking into region protection options, but for now just restrain yourself.
4. Don't wreck terrain and absolutely deplete resources. If you chop trees, regrow them. Don't start bombing the landscape.
5. Don't fight Plantera yet! We'll be organizing a Plantera fight in the near future.
6. Don't ask for admin or other permissions; you'll get it if I think you deserve it.
7. Don't use an inventory editor. If you happen to know of any item duplication glitches or other cheats, don't use them.
∞. Just don't be a richard. Seriously.Pretty much everything else - trading, consentual PvP, etc, are allowed, as long as it doesn't involve you being a richard to someone who never asked you to be a richard to them.
