itt: zedrow pulls off the ultimate bait by getting everyone to argue for 11 pages straight.

Unless the parents are related by blood, the parents' genes would be just as similar as two randomly chosen humans
Nothing about having children together suddenly makes your genes more similiar

EDIT: Yeah I missed the "if two siblings have intercourse" part

Yeah, I was about to say that, but I haven't participated in an argument in a while.

I am too conservative for this damn forum my goodness
lol

hey man, believe what you want, just don't in any way hurt another person or yourself through having those beliefs or practicing them, and it's one million percent ok. even if we hold completely opposite views, we can have an interesting discussion and both take something from it, because we'll both be introduced to ideas we haven't considered. arguments can't do that, and so i try to avoid arguments these days.

internet arguments are a sequence of people yelling at each other and neither side having a modified opinion.

McJob, i'm not trying to make enemies, im trying to be respectful. Dont take any of this personally, maybe i do need to reevaluate something. I dont think my opinion will change though, i just have some pretty tight moral standards is all, and soon enough ill be the old man down at the retirement home spewing the same stuff i am now and everybody telling me shut up and stop being so expectant of people. Maybe that is my "problem" afterall i think everyone tries to be "good" when not everyone does try to be "good" in my code of conduct

I guess I was naïvely hoping that something constructive would come out of it.

we all do

On an unrelated note, I feel that the human race needs to develop human morals, not piggyback on religious ones.

religious morals were developed by humans though, through divine power

anyway guys, i just checked the forum at 12:30 AM and now its 2:14 Am maybe i should get to bed lol

I absolutely detest your "code of conduct", and the morals of any people who think similarly to you..

Way to start a flame war Zedrow....you know how these threads usually go.

not really a flame war more like stirring the controversy pot

They were alienated by the same power, you could say.
