Just saying that his brown townogy is bad, don't get your jimmies rustled

um isn't fenn a pathological liar forum user

some times they are real people though, I met some Ukraine guy who was trying to scam me for my strange items on tf2. "no no, this happen you trade and I give rep if you want but I want rare hat for $10"

He tried to make me buy my own hat for $10, then sell it to him. Now, tell me how does that work?

I think we need to make a mega thread for these kinds of things, so we can monitor their evolutions, without filling the board with this same topic over, and over.

they're real life friends and i don't give half a stuff

it's so loving obvious that the people who click the link and download the file that secretly steals their stuff actually deserve it
nah

It doesn't matter if the bots get hurt or not. This thread is just pointing them out. What's the harm in that?
I never even said anything about the thread, i'm talking about how in the picture, op responded to the bot.

The funny thing about those is the website name XD [steamcommnuitiy] I wouldn't get why anybody would fall for these

Because they don't ever look at the links at all.
Or they don't find it unusual when people they hardly know, or their friends, send them links to things they never ever do.

I mean, I'd be much more likely to accidentally click a virus link if it came from my friend and was disguised as a YouTube link, but if he sent me a SteamCommunity link that would ring alarm bells immediately, because he never ever does that.

Yeah that is true, kinda like when people install things they just keep clicking next and install random crapware

I got the same one, but steam saved me.
