Author Topic: Computer Sound Randomly Turned Off  (Read 587 times)

I was playing a game on Steam and all of a sudden, my speakers just make a loud crackling and buzzing noise before falling silent. I tried turning them off and on again and running the troubleshooter but still can't hear anything. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

have you tried turning your computer on and off

Do you play your music loud?

No.
Anything loud? If you play music, games, ETC loudly they can damage the speaker...

have you got headphones? plug them in to the computer to see if your speakers just didn't blow up

I never played anything loud except for that time last year when I first bought my machine. The volume was maxed and it played for a few seconds like that before I turned it down.

My headphone jack is broken.

Oh wait, never mind. It suddenly started working again. Don't know what was wrong.
