I remember there was this polygon tank esque game where there was a red and purple team I think, the terrain was very bumpy and as I said it involved tanks, not world of tanks though, the setting was somewhat futuristic, the tanks seemed to be round and have rather large canons on it. It was 3D, not 2D.
I think I know what you're talking about. The game was a PC remake of Combat for Atari 2600. It came in a bright red box. I know it was a remake because there was another one of Dig Dug in a yellow box. After doing a bit more research, I was half-right. It actually came in a blue box. Found some gameplay, though:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB5lWulLObM
i remember when i was little my grandma bought me this game where you learn stuff. it has a dog as the mascot or something, and you do math, reading and all that good stuff. forgot what it was
there was also another game in the bush era, i think it was on miniclip. i think you played as bush (???) and you went around the white house shooting bad guys.

www.miniclip.com/games/bush-shoot-out/en/miniclip made a crapload of these, just search bush under "shoot em up"
i remember this game where you could smack someones head off with a shovel and piss on their headless corpseand blood would defy the laws of gravity by going up hills
You must be thinking of Math Blaster.
