I REMEMBER THIS
IT HAD AWESOME IN IT

I REMEMBER PLAYING THAT BUT NEVER BEING ABLE TO GET ON THE SITE BECAUSE I COULDNT SPELL AWESOME
:(((

that brings me back to the ol blockbuster days of rentin ps2 games
It does bring me back too, speaking of Blockbuster...
I remember renting this game at blockbuster and I think it was for the ds. You play as someone in a sliver power suit and it was sort of like a fps. Similar to Metroid Prime Hunters, but it wasn't that game.
That's where I got this game, I tried scavenging the web, but I got no results. I swear it's not a fake memory I remember playing some fps on a handheld and it was cool as hell too. It might've been on the PSP also, but I'm not sure.

From a reddit post nobody could solve:

[PC][2000s]Educational(?) Point & Click Game (self.tipofmyjoystick)

submitted 4 days ago by McJobless

Platform(s): Windows, probably XP and/or 98.

Genre: Point & Click

Region: Australia, probably world-wide though

Estimated year of release: Early 2000s

Graphics/art style: Seemed to be fairly detailed and well lit/shaded. It a 2D point and click that I think was taking a lot of cues from Humongous Games.

I remember one of the rooms fairly well, and I drew my best interpretation of its layout
. It was a grocery store/general shop/cheese store. I know that one of the interactable elements was "goat's cheese", because I think the character you play mentions that and says it makes him sick or something else.

1 was the door. #2 is this overhead kind of area with lots of those useless-yet-funny interactions. In the center of the room, #3, there was something; maybe some racks or shelves or boxes or a very long table, and the goats cheese was here. #4 I'm not sure about, but I think this is where the counter for the store was. I may have gotten the perspective slightly wrong too.

Notable characters: There would have been about 2 - 5 people in the main "group". You play as one of them. I think they were mice/rats or some other animal, but I can't be sure. I just know they were humanoid. Main character was probably male.

Notable gameplay mechanics: Can't remember any specific unique mechanics. I think the goal of the game was to prepare a birthday party for one of the characters, and the reason you went to the shop is to get ingredients.

Other details: I don't know how I acquired this game, but it was definitely on a retail CD. It might have been part of a partwork or something else, but I think it was part of a series of games.

In a previous thread I mentioned the room I talked about above and the mice/rat characters. I can confirm that it is not Learning Land. I definitely played Learning Land, but I had mixed these two games up.

EDIT: Should mention that this game, as I recall it, was tailored either towards children or young teenagers.
Still trying to find this game.

Bump because I have a priority request.

From a new reddit post I've made:

[WINDOWS][90s - 00s]Children's Game with Trucking; Not Tonka?

Platform(s): Windows PC, mostly like Windows 98 but possibly also/or XP

Region: Australia (Most likely America/UK as well)

Genre: Unknown (Possibly Driving/Educational?)

Estimated year of release: Late 90s, Early 2000s

Graphics/art style: For 4 hours I thought it was a Tonka game. I swear it has the exact same style, but no 3D models. Probably wrong. It's definitely very colorful though.

You were driving on two lane highways or other types of roads. I think most of the roads were desert/suburban. I remember one prop that appeared a lot on the sidewalk was a sign that said something like:

(place)
TURN LEFT
NEXT 20

I might be wrong about that, but they were definitely turn-off signs. I also have this vague feeling it might have had a fast-food chain appearing frequently, but I'm not confident on that.

Notable characters: Somebody was on the radio quite a bit; unless I'm mistaken, they said "Honk your horn if you're happy!" quite a bit (might have been on a sign or license plate). Every time I heard that I would hold down the horn button for a good 10 seconds.

Notable gameplay mechanics: You could honk your horn.

I don't know if you actually steered the truck or not. I think you had to press on signs to turn the truck down different roads, but I might be mistaking that for something else.

Other details: What I'm remembering might be the minigame for a larger game. I went through all the Tonka games; it's not one of the 4 that I own/owned, and it doesn't seem to be one of the ones I didn't own. I could be wrong though.

i remember having this game set for my computer when i was like 3 or 4
it came with this thing with buttons, around 4 i think, that you would put on the keyboard so when you pressed a button some keys would be pressed to do whatever the forget the game did

top-down rc car racing game where in one track you could hit and squish a frog

early 2000s monster truck racing game where you could put some generic decals like flames and smiley faces. i used to always get some black truck with flames covering it
you could also damage your truck and you had to buy your truck

I'm trying to remember a pretty old game...It was by those games that were made to learn things (like numbers and such), with different minigames.

Game was specifically about things like nouns and adjectives. May have been either Kindergarten or 1st grade, can't remember. One of the main characters was a fly...I think? There was a song that had a music video (not IRL) ingame that talked about verbs, adjectives, and nouns. All in the same song.

I can't remember anything else. Anyone got a clue?

Solved. It was Tonka Dig N' Rigs. I was suspicious because I couldn't remember the menus at all, and it seemed weird that I would own both of the Tonka games which came with the physical toy box things that fit over your keyboard, but after watching more YouTube LPs I figured it out.

Feel like a bit of an idiot, but otherwise extremely happy. Can rest easy now!

shameless bump
wow I haven't checked on this in forever

oh wow I completely forgot about that game jesus

Platform(s): Windows 98
Region: America
Genre: Puzzle, Pseudo-action
Estimated year of release: Early 2000s
Graphics/art style: Top down, pixel art, probably 8x8 or 16x16. Almost positively Christmas themed.
Notable characters: Green ball controlled by player.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Bulldozers would push moveable blocks along certain directions back and forth. Campfires would kill you, I think. There were movable bricks, some you could probably push. There were also timer bricks that did something... not quite sure what.
Other details: I'm at least 90% certain this game was downloadable (it was positively offline) from the web, as the person who gave it to me downloaded it from a website. It might've been part of a suite of Christmas games, with one other one being some kind of assembly line control game? I say 'pseudo-action' because I think you could move as fast as you could press the arrow keys. The game might've sped up when you did that though, not sure.

I rember this one game from my childhood dunno the name
But it was where your a pixel guy who goes into a building and robs it of loot and excape after the heist

basically it was a 2-d platformer where you jumped around breaking blocks and collecting coins
