Author Topic: What the hell Steam?  (Read 1539 times)

Yep, this happened. I'm so pissed atm. I have no idea how this happened.
This is BS. forget you Gaben

I've been buying games for 3 years, and racked that total up to 367 games.
Never had this happen. So I feel like it was well deserved. Don't try to trick Steam. You managed to get a 9 week VAC ban. I'm pretty sure this will show up permanently on your profile, too.

Using a fathers credit card (with permission of course) is tricking Steam? Speaking of that he may of accidentally never knew that transaction before.

what did you even do lol
NOTHING. I bought a game, and i get Steam Access banned for 9 loving weeks for a game i bought a loving month ago.

Your dad canceled it. Nice.

Ask your father about it. He may have done that intentionally because he doesn't like the content in Saints Row, that or it was a mixup.

Either way, ask him.

Funfact, no money was given back to my fathers account. Gaben ripped off $27. Thats just great.
NVM he got it, but what good will that do since i wont be unbanned ;-;

This is probably more the banks fault.

why do people just give out their steam willy nilly
people add you and then you never talk to them once in your life
there are like 4 people i talk to on steam and i have 60 friends

I find this to be true.

This is more my fault as I like talking to people yet cant really find the things to say to them.

He didn't confirm or deny, so it looks like his Dad saw the purchase, didn't know where it came from and cancelled it.

Hence why Steam wallet cards are great for younger people to get, since you don't need to mess around with the Credit Card bullstuff. Steam loving gyped me on a Transistor purchase; it took out and "immediately" refunded $20 without giving me the game.

I have 36 friends rn. I talk to most of them, the ones that don't get removed swiftly in every cleaning batch.
And I don't give my steam willy nilly like you think I do

You'd have to get through the comment step first.

Of course you got banned you used a chargeback. This is completely your fault and steam did nothing wrong at all. If they allowed chargebacks people would scam them all the time. Buy a game and once you're done with it do a chargeback and the game was pretty much free.

"Hopefully it will have been worth the wait"
