The thing about that is
#GamerGate-rs actually identified many of the people that are harassing people like sarkeesian, and many of them weren't even pro-gg. One of them was neutral and harassing BOTH sides.

They even tried to report them to the police but they said that sarkeesian needed to file the reports herself, so they emailed everything to her. They never got a response back.

You have to understand, she feeds off the harassment. Without the harassment she's nothing. Nobody cares about her. When the harassment stops that's when the donations stop.

Um, hello fyi you can kill anyone you want in that game and it doesn't matter if they're a girl are you loving stupid. They most likely didn't reply because they knew how stupid your comment was and didn't even want to get near it. Really if you think that women are the main targets in video games, then you're so loving stupid that it makes me sick to see you around. I love how they don't even identify what gamergate is in the video, all they do is claim that one side is harassing the other, and Anita is so loving brain dead that she should not be allowed to do stuff like this, if she is the main face of feminism then I guess you can consider it a joke.

To those claiming that how her capitalizing off of this event is wrong, shouldn't we realize that A) this is a social reform issue, and that her methods for gaining support are hardly different from any other social reform issue.  The progressives of the early 20th century did nothing but this for decades, and I'm sure people complained, but what change they brought was a new meaning of freedom in America that lasts to thus day.  Compared to some issues, this seems a more moderate cause than some of the other issues today.  And B) If we should not criticize how she earns it, we should better criticize how she spends it.  If all the money for this is going to social reform programs, then she is not in the least bit corrupt about it.  However, if the money goes towards an expensive haircut or something, I am hesitant to say that she is the right voice to represent this issue.
