Author Topic: The Measles are Back  (Read 4135 times)

Most of you are probably well aware of the outbreak at California's Disneyland.

A disease that was considered to be eradicated from the U.S. now makes its humble return, and it's all thanks to those anti-vaccination dipstuffs.

"Herd immunity doesn't exist, I swear! Look at my perfectly healthy kid who never got a vaccine!"

now all we gotta do is kill off the cancerous moms who think getting polio is better than autism

can't do that until we have a cure for cancer

*badum tissh*

"Hey guys! lets let our kids get Polio, Measles, or something worse because vaccines cause Autism!" I need a good sized medical book, anyone have one so I can beat the stuff out of the people who thought about this?

America has a serious sensationalism problem, made worse by celebrity worship and the "us versus them" mentality.

Sometime we will accept vaccines as a nation, but I'm afraid by then it will be too late to prevent the deaths of innocents.

parents who don't vaccinate their children shouldn't be allowed to have kids

"But my son might get autism!!"

Although I think parents should have a choice, but only if it's a reason that can be backed-up.
example "X vaccine is scientifically proven to give Z".

There is no scientific proof that vaccines cause autism.

It can be scary for some people not knowing what's actually being injected, not saying it is something bad, just saying the thought can put others off.

Agreed. I hate the sense of "rebellion" and "friendship" based community over realistic approaches to devastating problems.

I haven't gotten all of my vaccines (not just for "autism" reasons), but I'm pretty sure I've had the measles vaccine so I have a better chance at not getting it.

i actually made an annotated bib and an essay for school projects about how vaccines dont cause autism

I've never been vaccinated for it personally, I also never get Flu shots. I have yet to get any of these viruses that spread like wildfires.
