Author Topic: new banjo kazooie reboot confirmed  (Read 2565 times)

I actually love nuts and bolts and it is one of my favorite games to this day. Unfortunately I can't really compare it to the other ones because I never played them.

We'll see what is actually happening, nothing is confirmed so don't get your hopes up.

Like I said I can't compare it to the ones from before because I don't own them. I love the building mechanic of the vehicles and the fact that you can't just put them in random places and expect it to work.

tbh what exactly is wrong with the collect-a-thon formula in these games? They worked extremely well for the Banjo series and even donkey kong 64

There was also a nice little charm to getting those golden puzzle pieces uknow ;(

The game was probably going to be Banjo Threeie at first. But they no doubt decided it wasn't going to work.
And instead of scrapping the game they just jammed cars into the game mid way through development.
Not even bothering to change too much in the game to make it all work for what they turned it into.

isn't Ctrl Alt Del just task manager

isn't Ctrl Alt Del just task manager
if you're in the BIOS, it means restart

In my mind adding cars to anything automatically makes it ten times better

Crash
Mario
Sonic
All had great racing spinoffs.(well maybe less amazing for sonic)

tetris racing allstars extreme featuring toejam from the devil may cry series

gex allstars racing Xtreme gold edition feat. scooby doo & the mystery gang

It is too easy to make a repetitive and dull mess of a game that feels padded out when it comes to collection games.

Banjo & Kazooie was able to pull it off by adding more to the gameplay beyond collecting things.

True, true, but what're some good examples of these kind of games done wrong?
