BitDefender Free + MalwareBytes

Kaspersky Antivirus is the best AV by far.
It still protects me even when my subscription runs out lol. Also they have a free one-time virus removal tool for computers, and you can put it on a flashdrive. It's pretty nice of them to do that for free.

I have to agree with this

A much lesser known tool available to anyone using Windows 7(and 8) is Godmode, the string for which is GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

I don't see any thing special about that. You can do almost all of that with the regular control panel.

I'm surprised that "None" isn't in the poll

Isn't common sense basically "none"

It still catches stuff that other programs don't. It's good to have and protects you against viruses, so shut up pls :)

It's an anti-malware, close enough, god

its literally a scanner

Godmode's usefulness comes from the fact that it sorts all available functions of the Control Panel in an easily accessible list, as well as having some things the control panel doesn't. It's less of a 'home-use' tool than it is a way for people in the IT business to have an easier way to check what might be wrong with a system.

its literally a scanner
This is literally what most antiviruses are/used to be. A scanner. If you want, you could go back to the early 2000s and see how they were back then, which is exactly as you describe. A scanner.
