the physics for tanks in war thunder is great

no traction action

Warthunder is okay, fun at times, rage inducing the other time. The Call of Duty and Battlefield of tanks, basically.

Battlefield of tanks, basically.
I wouldn't go so far to praise it like that.

War thunder is good in its own right, but it's not a game that can be reliably won if you have a hefty platoon of friends. In terms of pure teamwork, it is by far one of the worst games out there in terms of teamwork. (At least for mainstream realistic, and everything arcade [which is what 99% of people play anyways], if you play with a group in realistic, you can carry the team most of the time.)

I think it suffers from the same issues 64 player Metro had in Battlefield 3. There are too many players on the teams, or the players are too spread out, turning the team game into a "fend for yourself" type of game, and with the damage system that doesn't really seem like a system, and sometimes like a luck based run and gun, I can understand why a lot of people try to avoid engagements all-together, and try to pick off the weaker people while being blissfully unaware of their surroundings.

It's not a praise. I was comparing it to how people think they know all about guns from playing call of duty, despite the fact none of the weapons are portrayed accurately and are basically Hollywood.

does anyone play this game?
