I used Cyanogenmod before, switched back to stock TouchWiz.
Even though I do feel like Google is trying to shove their services in my face too much, don't really think having no Google interference at all would help things much either, but I'm interested in the idea.
What does Cyanogen even do. I have never heard of them before this.
Custom ROM, offers stock android experience, no bloatware (duh), more control over the device (Root, overclocking, governors and etc), themes, more frequent updates with latest android, better performance, yada yada, you get the point
I actually considered installing Cyanogen because I am kinda sick of having all the bloatware on my phone, being able to only barely disable it. I am also using 700/800 MB RAM for no reason and certain apps shut down randomly. I am just kinda scared of the process and all.
Anyway the only issue I can see with this is the lack of Google Apps, outside of that everything would be as perfect as possible for this. (I don't see why are people supporting Google on this cause / hating on Cyanogen).
If they make their market app with actual quality control I'm also sold twice.
There's apps out there that can remove bloatware, but require root.
Also, there are zips with google apps you can flash, they're just not pre-installed with cyanogenmod.
