I have no clue what the practical purposes of this is.
Political canvassing.

So, I'm not very smart at all this.
What's the best way to make a trebuchet? I can't quite work out how I would make a counter-weight system that I can raise and then drop.
And preferably fit in the space given in missions.

Counter-weight trebuches are really impractical generally, just make a spring-powered catapult. Much easier.

Or just make a cannon powered missle launcher.

played and made this after awhile

I like the game and it has tons of potential

I absolutely love Besiege, however I sadly just can't put more than 30 minutes into it until I get bored. Help :(

Actually just spent some time into making a caterpillar-like creature

Just think of something you want to make and then dive in. Thats all my sessions are.

I've made a better tank, and now you can drive it too!

Tank.bsg

Controls!
  • H adds tension to the tracks (do this first!)
  • Numpad 4 and Numpad 1 control the Left Track
  • Numpad 5 and Numpad 2 control the Right Track
  • Left and Right Arrow Keys to rotate the Turret, C  to fire!

Important Information!
  • It isn't perfectly stable with invincibility turned on, while sometimes it'll work fine, most of the time, it'll detrack or snap a wooded beam.
  • It is smaller than level bounding boxes, so it can be used to complete a level if it doesn't break.
  • It has a lot of physics parts that move fast. Run it at a timescale of 40% or lower for maximum stability. (297 parts total)

This is why it needs invincibility

I have beaten Queens Fodder with it. It's great for running things over.

That thing is forgetin awesome
Impractical, but awesome! (Though to be fair, lots of contraptions are impractical)
