I'd honestly recommend JavaScript for a starter. Or even C#.

If you know absolutely forgetall about programming?

C++ is one of the lowest-level languages most people would probably work with today. A beginner could have a bit of trouble diving right in without prior knowledge, but it isn't impossible.

C#/VB.NET are the easiest languages I've learned. I went into a .NET developer job with 0 VB experience and just enough c# to make basic asp.net pages work and picked them both up really easily
The languages themselves are easy, and the .NET framework provides forgettons of stuff, from SQL server connections, to speech synthesis/recognition already made for you
