Retail Blockland... Signifigantly Better?

Hey guys, I played Blockland for a quite a long time before retail came out but a few months before I just put it down for some other things so I have yet to purchase retail. I have the itch to get it now but I just wanted to ask if you guys think that retail is really worth the twenty dollars. Not trying to insult Badspot or anything im just checking your opinions before I do so. I loved the free version of Blockland and would assume I would like this one.

Just looking for some honest opinions although im sure you all love it!

Quick question I remember back when Badspot was trying to get a deal with lego which fell through and because he would make profits he had to change the models to squares...

I also remember that he once said that once retail came out someone could just mod in the old appearances if they wanted the look instead of the square heads etc. Just wondering if anyone did mod it to bring back the original look of the characters... If so could I get a link?

No, no one has bothered to do it, it would just cause complications. We've all grown to accept the Blockheads from when the first screenshots of them appeared.

The new design allows for more flexibility and originality when it comes to modifications.

here is a few pointers to know
1. you dont press e to get in vechiles you jump on it
2. everyone can now make vechiles
3.the editor wand is gone
4. make sure to look at the bottom center to change your name
5. never fall for alt f4
6.make sure to do that tutorial, some things have changed you will need to know
7.you can not mod hats and stuff(well you can but not in the way your thinking)
8. make sure to have a look for yourself
9. you dont have to repeatly press to move a brick you can now hold
10. have fun and figure some other stuff out
(if you wonder how i know even tho i wasnt in classic blockland, i dled Rtb 1.045 and tried it out, and thats good for me due to the fact im not known so i dont have to worry about being attack by people wanting me to do stuff)

The "square" models will grow on you. Trust me. When I first bought BLR, I absolutely hated the player models, but they grew on me, and now I like them even more than the "lego" ones.
