People are saying this stuffty video of a kid hugging-fighting his teacher are going to go viral, wowe. I know thug kids suck at fighting, but holy stuff, this is pathetic.

Didn't watch the video yet, but if you're on your phone in class and are silly enough to get caught, you deserve it taken away. So far, only my History teachers last year and this year saw me on my phone. But both of them don't care at all

It said JFK High School in Paterson. I thought for a second that they meant the one in Iselin, which is in my district. Whoops

my old school was lenient with electronics. if we finished what we did in class before it ended, we could use our phones and stuff and hang out, and they'd let you use them in between classes.

Same, in later years they let us use our phones and laptops in class, although that was completely up to the teacher. Abusing those privileges gets your stuff confiscated, though, so you'd better not get caught playing brawl in class or something.

you can only use them in the gym here. anywhere else and your parents have to pick it up, then you have to wait a week to get it back and you get suspended, then you're banned from bringing electronics onto campus altogether. dunno why they're so brown town about phones.

i like the excuse that "i need in case of emergency if family needs me" crap.
where a decade ago, no one had emergencies apparently, and there was no concern over needing to contact everyone at any moment.
