                           "The Official Megathread!"

RollerCoaster Tycoon is a game invented by talented Chris Sawyer and the series later acquired by Atari. The first ever edition was released in March 31, 1999. (april fools? I think NOT.)
The game consists of you building a Roller coaster park and thriving it, removing dirty old attractions and making new ones! The possibilities are endless for you.
The most recent installment of the series is RollerCoaster Tycoon World, which releases Early 2015.

You can buy this awesome game through Atari, Steam, And other services!

Chris Sawyer has created other titles such as "Locomotion", which inspired the creation of RollerCoaster Tycoon.

Now that the explaining has been finished, /discuss

Rollercoaster Tycoon News!

Rollercoaster Tycoon WORLD will have new modes for building but a few really unknown changes.

NEW ARCHITECT MODE? This will allow you to build your roller coaster before actually "building" it. Its like a sketch but when complete, you can build it.

More info in the link above the logo!

Same way with the sequel to TTD. Some of the stuff from the original RCT was actually implemented into Locomotion, but it was postponed for the second game. Many of the resources were shared among his games.

RCT3 was the peak (because of custom scenery), then RCT 3D was bleurgh, and RCT 4 was riddled with microtransactions
