Jesus honno, one thing at a time, you don't throw a person into a barrel of sharks without first giving them at least a BIT of protection
I like to be thorough when it comes to introducing people to a language I am passionate about. Besides, I haven't even showed him anything on
how to code, yet. I pretty much gave him all the 'protection' he can choose from, he just needs to learn how to use it.
OP needs to have some computer skills if he really wants to learn how to code in a low-level language like C++.
I am sort of mostly kind of confused right now...
Don't worry, this all seems like one giant stone wall just appeared. I might have been a little too hasty, and you might not know what your favorite IDE/compiler even is yet. Try googling C++ tutorials and most of them will show you how to set up a basic IDE.
Continue watching / reading C++ tutorials on how to code. Make sure they are at beginner level.
When you are at least at a basic level, you will have a variety of IDE's and compilers to choose from for your liking.
Even though some tutorials were given, I can't even get the first line to work...
What is the output? And most importantly, what is your code?
that visual one, then the one you provided...
Use the one Pecon provided for now:
