turn it off on weekends

its all about REM sleep. if you go to bed and get between 3-6 hours of sleep you will naturally feel very exhausted because your body was setting itself up all that time to go into REM and sweep the brain with delta waves, when it is abruptly interrupted during that calming process by the blaring of alarm clocks or parents talking loudly in your face or bright lightbulbs shining into your face from the cieling. the trick is to either get more than 7 or less than 3, as that way your body either undergoes a full sleep cycle or only undergoes the first or second stages of it without getting too deep into sleep.
Yeah, Thats the weird thing, it feels like the exact opposite with me, I go to sleep for over 7 hours and I'm tired as stuff when I wake up, but If I go and sleep for any time under that, I'm perfectly fine.

also I'll probs set it to something like what would look like the default so it looks like the thing broke or something, my parents arent exactly computer geniuses so they probs wouldnt catch on.
though I'm gonna wait for now until past friday cause I'm gonna get my reportcard stuff so maybe they'll change their mind about it by then or change it a bit more

The fact that schools usually start so early (school starts at 8 AM for me; I've known some schools that actually start earlier) has scientifically been proven to be bullstuff anyway, since such early start times do not allow adolescents to sleep as long as they should.

I do this all the time and Am I unhealthy? Kinda but the point is no it doesn't affect you unless you attend school and need rest.

My record:

Monday 5:34PM - Wednesday 7:23AM
Mine was the whole loving week finishing a game.

I stay up til like 12 or 1 every night on here and I don't experience any serious issues

i get migraines if if don't get enough sleep

People have different sleeping needs; someone can sleep 6 hours and be fine. Another person can sleep the same time and still be tired.

Also long as you sleep above 5 hours each night (that is a large stretch, you should sleep more as a growing teen), then you are fine*.

*probably not fine

My mind doesn't give a stuff when I go to sleep, I once got only 4 hours of sleep on a school day and was some how fully awake during the whole school day, and in fact on that day I went to the gym as well. Once I got only 2 hours of sleep and I managed to keep awake the whole day, Guess you could say I am a bit of a daredevil but Im not like this everyday only at times when I can't get to sleep or I had a sleep over, or just normally on a certain occasion

irregular sleeping patterns can damage or kill you

i usually sleep at 12 or 1 am on weekdays and i usually go to bed at 4 am on weekends

during the summer i dont even know its really surreal for me atleast

Personally, I usually try to go to sleep at 10, browse the forums until 1 and just sit there for another 15-30 minutes until I fall asleep
