That's okay, i'm fine with not using my time later today playing Gmod Tower, no, i'd rather spend the day continuing my download

The servers must be overloaded, the updater is pretty slow right now. I had it running for an hour and it is at 26% at the time I wrote this post.

2 hours later, 33%. The GMT servers seem to be overloaded.
EDIT: It's downloading again. Just restarted the download.

Gmod Tower is a neat little server where you can hang out in the lobby, buy things with GMC from gamemodes and other stuff, decorate your own little place called a condo, and much more.

dude what the forget you are WAY too hyped its most likely not gonna be as great as you thought it would be

also when its done have fun trying to get in the server

I played the beta, so I know what to expect. I just can't wait to see the server full of people.
