More third person options

An addon that lets you pick where you want to see yourself at for example
Front view camera third person but your face is looking at the camera, just press tab twice
Feet view camera shows just the front of the feet, can be used to have a mystery person in videos ctrl + f
Profile camera camera: a close view of the face and a little bit of the side ctrl + p

i dont see any reason for why you need to move in any of the situations that you mentioned

camera on face from frontal view: yeah i really dont see a reason to go anywhere when i cant see whats ahead of me

camera on feet: same deal, with focus on lower body

camera close up on face: i really dont need to move for this, let alone have it


i mean if we had more useful camera angles; top down and all that cycled through by pressing tab multiple times
would be more useful

unless you mean something like a free cam controllable by arrow keys

Wouldn't a client-sided mod of this work since the game world is already in the client's data, and the client can just maybe change what they see? For when you have the fast 3rd person to 1st person change disabled, is that the client making it slower or is it the server?

No. Your camera is a point in the world. Presumably, the engine doesn't want you to just move this point around as you please... unless it's been given the ability to do it, or something. Which may be possible with a playertype, or maybe not, I don't really know. In any case, it's definitely impossible with a client add-on alone, I know that much.
