I want the SetPlayerAppearance event from Bot_Hole made into a player event.

Event_Bot came way before Bot_Hole. And before that were Amade's Bot events.

That is the original event? You select hide/unhide/node etc from the dropdown, then had to put in the node name, then the colour and what not.

It's literally the same code for changing a players appearance. Why do you need that specific one if it's the same code?
