Has the Pope's PR team been missing for the past few months? People started to love him when he first became Pope and now he's been saying this stuff that are making people think he may be, gasp, a normal Pope!

He's one of the more progressive popes, and having a pope that doesn't subscribe to Catholic ideals is literally impossible. I'm just gonna count my blessings (no pun intended) and be glad that he's not making things worse.

It's an understandable view.
He's coming from a religion that believes ones seed should only be used for having children, and that contraception isn't acceptable.
It's not at all bizarre for him to believe that having children is a priority in life.

And really, it's hardly the worst thing a pope has said.
And he has been a fairly progressive pope so far.

Yeah I'm with this. I just think it's a very edgy thing for him to say. I don't have anything against the Pope, but he says some things that can be controversial and condescending.

Anything can be controversial to other people, the Pope isn't addressing satanists when talking like this...he's talking to Catholics; who believe what he does.
