WHAT IS TOTAL WAR?

Total War is a RTS developed by The Creative Assembly and currently published by SEGA. It is playable on PCs, consoles, and mobile devices.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

The game combines turn-based gameplay and resource management, but in combat, however, you manage an army in real time tactical control style.

WHAT GAMES ARE OUT THERE?

There are currently 8 main games and 4 spin-offs. One main game is to be released in a few days!

the entire point of the game is the rts element

you might as well not even play it if you're going to autoresolve

I have Rome 1, Medieval 2 Kingdoms, Empire though I don't play it, Napoleon, hope to get Atilla later on when my PC isn't complete ass.

It always leaves me with more troops than auto-resolve :D

It feels like they just have troops run into the front of a phalanx in auto-resolve.

Emperor edition for Rome 2 fixed a lot of the problems and it added a huge list of improvements, plus it tacked on a whole new campaign that was pretty interesting by itself. Big fan of it myself, especially with Emperor edition.
