it really depends as each trackmania game plays differently

incase you're wondering which one to buy, you can actually play them for free albeit with a time limit
so you can find out on your own!

i've only played trackmania 2 stadium and i had tons of fun so yeah

I can't have a favorite because I've played all of them for long periods of time and I got used with all of the different environments and handlings, I played Trackmania Original, Sunrise, Nations ESWC, United, United Forever (no nations forever here because when you own United forever you automaticly have nations forever as well) then to Trackmania 2 Canyon, Valley and Stadium.

Yup, not a fan at all. /sarcasm

I still have yet to get a giftcard so I can get tm united forever but I never know someone could gift it to me on steam ;)

never played any of the 2nd generations, but united was fun with all those enviroments so yeah

Canyon is the best in my opinion because it's the one new gen environment that has a lot of blocks, while Valley has very few.

You can always try the new ones, after all they made available multiplayer demos of the three TM2 envis on steam.

Bought Stadium.
Best purchase I've ever made, it literally felt like time stopped.

I only played nations forever  but  I  love it so much that I  need to get the other games later.
