Author Topic: Taking suggestions for Industrial content  (Read 1342 times)

I am making a few packs of Industrial content for Blockland in the form of sounds, ambience loops, and emitters, possibly more.  I haven't worked with lights before, but I'd be willing to figure it out to make some.

Let me know what you would like to see.

Current Sounds:

Servo
Dispenser
Steam burst
Hydraulic-electric lift
(Some others I can't remember off the top of my head)

Music loops

Ambience 1
Ambience 2
Ambience 3
Machine in operation
Giant fan slow
Giant fan fast
(Some others I can't remember off the top of my head)

Emitters

(None)

what i want is an emitter of the dust coming from the light, as shown in the picture

a futuristic engine sound

Working on it.

I was thinking of a few smokestack plumes as well.  Anyone know if wind is still a thing or does it have to be made artificially?

Wind has always been a thing but it's not in the environment GUI.

can you also make a quiet electric hum loop?

Sparks?
There are a few that can do that already.  There's two in specific that are useful in the Casual Emitters pack.  Do you need me to make additional content, or will that be suitable?

Exhaust emitter
Currently, you can use things like the Cannon/Tank smoke for exhaust.  Are these sufficient, or do you need something specifically different?

Okay, that's good to know.  Is wind included in the environment files?  I was thinking of making a few smokestack emitters, but I don't know if I should script in direction or just rely on wind.  Judging by the majority of maps seeming to have no significant amount of wind, I will likely script in direction.

I'll need to check what I have made already, but yes, I should be able to do that if it isn't done already.
