Photo of the removal of the German-Austrian Border

Quote
There had been several years of pressure from Germany and there were many supporters within Austria for the "Heim ins Reich"-movement, both national socialists and non-national socialists. Earlier, national socialist Germany had provided support for the Austrian National Socialist Party (Austrian national socialist Party) in its bid to seize power from Austria's Austrofascist leadership. Fully devoted to remaining independent but under considerable pressure from both German and Austrian national socialists, the Chancellor of Austria, Kurt Schuschnigg, tried to hold a referendum to ask the Austrian people whether they wished to remain independent or merge into Germany. Although Schuschnigg expected Austria to vote in favor of maintaining autonomy, a well-planned coup d'état by the Austrian national socialist Party of Austria's state institutions in Vienna took place on 11 March, prior to the referendum which was canceled. With power quickly transferred over to Germany, Wehrmacht troops entered Austria to enforce the Anschluss. The national socialists held a plebiscite – asking the people to ratify what had already been done – within the following month, where they claim to have received 99.73% of the vote. Austria was annexed to the German Third Reich on 12 March 1938.

Soldiers begin marching through into what was once Austrian territory, however more in a peaceful way. The noise of the German marching music bursts into the air as troops enter. However, with this, soldiers have also taken to lightly place themselves around the Czechoslovakian border.

The British Navy will fire upon the Cuban ships unless they remove the blockade.

what do you have to gain from aiding chile

the blockade begins to gather into a single fleet, though none of the ships are aimed for a broadside

Argentinian forces continue deeper into Bolivia. Fighting in the western provinces has been rough as the Andes have hindered air and armoured support. However, La Paz and Sucre have been encircled and are all but out of luck. The eastern plains of Bolivia have made for fast and relatively easy advances as air and artillery continuously pound the limited Bolivian resistance that remains. Argentinian generals and troops wonder how much longer the conflict will last.

Argentina's foreign ambassador to Brazil has reportedly begun asking for peace, citing that conflict between the two countries furthers no one.

Cuban diplomats begin requesting a similar white treaty with Brazil.

Poland advises Germany to stop building up troops around the Czechoslovakian border and to stop making demands for the Sudetenland.
