Once, three or four years ago. I woke up, my eyes closed still. I could not move, and I ironicly thought to myself that Im gunna see something when I open my eyes. I opened them and thought I saw zombies crowding me, so i quickly shut them until I could move again. Then i kicked around a bit to be sure, and openned. Also during the time even before seeing those things I felt fear. It was like I just witnessed a nuke go off in Philadelphia.

I was like 8 or 9

It's where your body thinks it's asleep but you're awake.

you wake up but your body is still asleep

or something

I have, it was a scary moment. I couldnt move but I could use my mind to manipulate my muscles and it was really weird.

I screamed really loud then I broke out of it.

I have these often, but they don't last too long.
I remember one time it had felt like I was going to be bludgeoned with a sledge by my neighbor.
Like, I couldn't move as he crept closer. It was pretty forgeted up, and was probably the only forgeted up paralysis I've had.

The night after I read some Sleep Paralysis stories, my brother got it.

Spooky.

as a kid i used to have it every night it was awful. around 12 years old, it just stopped

basically i didnt see dark figures or anything like that, but what would happen was i would wake up, and i wouldnt actually notice i was experiencing sleep paralysis until i actually saw what i saw, and all i saw was a little girl in white with black hair that covered her face

and it was so weird cause she didnt ever do anything necessarily scary, she would just clearly run past my door, and thats all it took to put me in a state of indescribable fear. sometimes, (and this was the scariest) she would walk into my room, go into my closet, and then suddenly i would snap out of it. other times, she would walk to the side of my bed and stare down at me, and then other times she'd crawl onto my bed and sit at my feet. and then bam, at 12 years it stopped

i have never experienced sleep paralysis since then. the brain and different states of dreaming are probably the most amazing things ive ever researched. i love the brain <3

I remember one time a shadow went past me but I knew I could counter it by using my mind so I tried to think that it was a popsicle (surprisingly it turned into a shadow popsicle lol).

Whats funny is that I was fully aware I was in Sleep Paralysis and a way to counter it is to think happy thoughts instead of scary ones. Trust me.
