I double back a let rip on my LCP so I can get a feel for how much heat it will take while dishing out a lot of fire on the Sabre-1 , I accompany this with a HSM.
It gets hit with the LCP but evades the incoming missile, keeping its focus on Crash.
"forget this."
I move to engage Jaguar 5 with my GAU-8s and an AAM.
It's so focused on attacking the fleet that it doesn't make any attempt to evade, and is destroyed as a result.
I turn into the Sabre in attempt to force him to overshoot. He's moving fast, but I'm helping to close the distance. I believe my calculations to be correct, he should overshoot, but there's no doubt he will recover quickly.
I slam the afterburners and firewall the throttle. The aircraft thunders forward, the sound of the engines is akin to a rocket, roaring and crackling. The engines are so gods' damned forceful. The airspeed indicator is rolling wildly, we're slow, but accelerating quickly.
The Sabre opens up with its LCP, intent on gunning you down before it shoots past you. It stays on you for so long that when it finally breaks off you you feel the unmistakable shudder of a collision. A brief glance to the port side reveals part of that wing has been sheared off, though thankfully, not enough to impair maneuverability much.
"I'm pulling back the drone to protect the ships, we're going to need to get rid of these strike aircraft as soon as possible, good luck."
Bell breaks off her engagement with the Jaguars and fires one of her AAMs at Shiva-1 to close in on the craft, and orders her air-superiority drone to dive down to engage Jaguar-5 with seekers.
Shiva-1 takes the hit and begins going evasive, showing no intent of trying to engage you just yet. It launches another ASM at the fleet.

: [Taking fire, someone assist.]
Sabre-2 lets the drone go and begins diving for you instead. The drone, since Jaguar-5 was already destroyed, goes for Jaguar-8 and finishes it off.

:
AMMUNITION AT 50%I try to shake 4.
You outmaneuver it with no difficulty.
The fleet continues to take fire from the strike squadrons, and the Shivas are dangerously close to being able to use their rockets as well.
