I land the Hind and shut all of the systems down, take off my helmet, and climb out of the helicopter.

"Justin," I say, slightly tired from the entire ordeal. "Justin Tabriel. Came from Mercana a few years back. Nice to meet you."

"What's your name again? Sometimes I'm a bit... forgetful. Don't worry, don't worry, it's fine!" I add in slight excitement/panic.

I wipe the sweat from my brow and head to the showers.

The food being served manages to be blander than the slop back home, due in part to supplies being hard to come by for the rebels. Fortunately for your palate (and unfortunately for your life expectancy), rumors are circulating among Aesthian personnel that a number of people are going to be transferred to the Delta in the near future.
