The salvo of missiles doesnt destroy the plane outright, but it does knock out the engine and tailfin, sending the carrier plane spiraling towards the sea.

Too disgruntled to even consider how reckless and dangerous his stunt was, Richard recovers and lunges after the Rafale element lifting off the carrier.

"Guns on target two-five!" All three energy weapons light up.

All three beams hit their target, destroying it instantly.

Roger flys in and takes a shot at the carrier with his plasma cannon. He silently prays this ship doesn't have a bigass laser pointed at him.

It does not have a big laser cannon, rather, many small ones all trying to bring down Tlacelel's plane. Your plasma bolt hits one of the island towers, destroying some radar equipment and hampering its ability to launch.

I try to get on Sabre-6's tail.

Sabre-6 having been chasing the Sky Marshal's group for some time now, is relatively easy to get behind. However, you are too far for guns.

Bell lines up a run on the damaged cruiser.

AA is still focused on Tlacelel's group, allowing for an easy approach.

With their escort objectives lost, Rafales 20, 24, and 26 turn on those responsible. One missile each is fired against Crash and Sabre. Sabre-6 fires on Tlacelel with its guns, prompting the remaining guardsman to drop back to attempt to engage.

With its target focused on shooting Tlacelel's engines, the guardsman is able to successfully perform a cobra and burn off most of its speed without being shot to stuff. It is now behind Sabre-6. In the meantime, with the skies nearby cleared, Paladius and Holt dive on the renegade fleet.

"Two-Three is down. Engaging the last nuke!" Jaakko yells.

He rolls and manuevers away from Tlacaelel, falling out of formation briefly to fire his last MMS-6 at the last nuke-carrying Rafale.

"Crash! Bandit fox inbound on you! Flares out, now!"

Richard leaves behind his own trail of flares and immediately charges after the Rafale. "I've got him on my nose! Guns on two-four!"

"Gah, forget! Last one!" Jaakko cries.

He dumps his last string of flares.

Bell drops all of the UGBs on the cruiser and breaks off, dispersing two packets of chaff for the run.

The 250s impact the port side of the cruiser's hull, blowing it open above the waterline. It is currently impossible to see the real extent of the damage through all the smoke pouring from the fires you started.

Bell comes around and looks for any new planes that might be launching off of the carrier's deck.

There are two planes currently on the top deck, though they aren't launching for some reason, likely connected to Whiskey buzzing the tower with a plasma cannon.

Rafale-22 charges up at Crash, firing its gun and a missile. The missile is taken care of by the nose-mounted LAMS, but the gunfire is not. Rafale-26, who has been chasing after Sabre for a while, opens fire with two more All-Aspects.

With no other immediate threats in the vicinity, Tlacelel's remaining Guardsman attempts to lend Sabre a hand.

Paladius is currently attempting to regain his composure, flying away from the fleet. Coaxoch, on the other hand, is making no attempt to regain hers and is sticking to her strafing runs for far longer than would be safe, resulting in damage to her plane when she flies through an explosion she caused on one of the corvettes. Tlacelel turns around and begins lining up on the dreadnought.
