I get a tally on the one headed for Shortsword and fire my last AAM at it before turning on the bandit approaching me.
The AAM knocks the fighter out of the sky before it can open fire on Shortsword, but its' buddy opens fire on you with gunfire and a heatseeker.

To force the Typhoon to give up the pursuit, Bell does a tight split-s maneuver and heads back to the allied AWACS
The enemy fighter is destroyed, allowing you a clear shot to the AWACS.

I select an HSM and wait to close the distance. The silhouette of the AWACS becomes larger. The HSM starts giving me a tone. It growls it's ugly, throaty growl. I let one loose on the AWACS.
It flies off towards the AWACS, only to suddenly veer upwards and explode way before it reaches its target.

I select the gun and maneuver to attack. I spray the AWACS and turn off. I don't get to see much of the effects through the smoke and because of my speed.

Bell detaches all of the rocket pods and signals to the AWACS that she wants:
Code: [Select]
2x UGB-500
3x UGB-250
2x AGM

She pulls into position.

Just as I gain aspect on the guy trailing me, the missile approach tone buzzes and a spray of gunfire streaks across my airframe. I quickly drop the power, dispense flares and attempt to swerve away from the missile.

You have no idea how much damage you did, but the continued existence of the jamming indicates that the enemy AWACS is still functional.

The AWACS makes no response. Either they didn't see you, cannot give you what you want, or cannot even respond.

The enemy fighter attempts to stay on your tail, but cannot keep up with the F-23's maneuvering.

Enemies remaining:
1x Eurofighter
1x AWACS
Loads o ground units

batter the left flank with the rest of the rockets

I fly closer to the AWACS and see if I can lock on.

I pull a high-G maneuver to try and turn the tables on the Typhoon.

I come around and close on the AWACS, then I let loose two AAM's and turn off again.

You can't tell exactly what you hit, but it is unlikely that whatever is in the saturation of explosions survived.

I fly closer to the AWACS and see if I can lock on.
The enemy AWACS is pretty damn far away so I'm gonna say you haven't reached lock-on range yet.

I pull a high-G maneuver to try and turn the tables on the Typhoon.
The turns have tabled and you are now behind the enemy plane

I come around and close on the AWACS, then I let loose two AAM's and turn off again.
Again, the missiles just veer off and explode.

I go full speed, and try my hardest to get as close to the AWACS as possible.

I am still eating a hamburger.

I am still eating a hamburger.

Faw sees some of his squadron members attacking the AWACS and starts to speed towards it.

The Typhoon falls into my sights, and I squeeze the trigger and let off a long burst from my cannon.
