would actually be very easy to simulate, the problem is indeed safety however

i just realized something about vortex missiles

in real life, they would probably have a pistol shrimp effect and cause a massive heat discharge sufficient to damage aircraft

The EMP effect? Yes. The explosion's effect on aerodynamic stability? Probably not.

If you want to attempt to be a total munchkin, sure, just be aware that the EML is very short range and has a very slow fire rate.

I observe one of the robots at the stands. I'm amazed but also disappointed.

"I guess it will be quite some time before robotics tech for kintharia would ever catch up with some of our competitors. I wouldn't want one of those flying a plane though, you can't beat flesh and brain."

I look around.

"Does Kintharia got any gun shops that i can look around in?"

(I'm just talkin to Yukamo if anyone is wonderin)

After letting Tippy loose for a while, Yukamo returns to the meeting spot with the bags.
"Does Kintharia got any gun shops that i can look around in?"
: Look around in, yes, but good luck buying anything from one while we're here. By the time all the paperwork is filled out and processed, the war will be over.

She notices Tippy's gun sitting in its holster.
: You brought your military ID, right? Might need to take it out if someone asks about your gun.

"My wallet is bloated with credentials. You bet i got it."

after quite some time i spot a little gun shop which basically was a hole in a wall. I push open the door and walk in.

It's not very impressive, most of the stock is unremarkable pistols and civilian variants of service rifles. The Mercanan SCAR-10 just isn't the same when it's limited to .223 caliber semi-auto instead of glorious 7.62mm at 620RPM.

I purchase a spare magazine for my service pistol. I ask the clerk a question.

"Do you have any antiques that i could look at? Pistol or rifle is fine. Also vintage ammo if possible."

The clerk (a human, here) just stares confusedly at you, not sure what to say. Yukamo has to repeat the question in Kintharian to get an answer.
: He says they've got a few vintage pistols from the First World War era, but no ammo for them.

Yukamo asks the clerk. He gives her a response and then goes to a side room.
: He says he's got a Model 4818 and a Mercanan single-action officer's revolver.

Being the gun nut she is, Tippy is able to guess what guns are about to be brought out.
: Y'know if you wanna see something really neat, I have an older-model Zentragothic service rifle at home. The thing is a monster, I think you'd like it.

>zippy is the only character with enough development to be taken on a 1 on 1 with the DM and she's only been here for a quarter of the RP

Tippy picks up the old officer pistol. She has the Raymington 1858 back at home but not this one.

"Is this a replica or is it authentic? I'm asking cus i have a C&R license which could help halve the paperwork. Real shame about the ammo. Black powder cartridges isn't something used very often."

OOC: "raymington"
that sounds so cute!
